waiting for the rain lyrics

I waited for the rain
And I prayed for conversation
Just one word from you
Some sweet sensation
You assault my senses like a blight
You run all over me like rain
You hurt me with your pretty voice
Your eye is a hurricane
CHORUS
Isn't it just like the wind
To carry you away?
Isn't it just like the wind
To carry you away?
The summer bends and breaks
In the hands of sister change
The sky goes big and wild
In the hands of sister change
Old sun moves away
And the storms laughing
Somewhere near
Human nature come to call
And whisper in my ear
CHORUS
Now I've waited for the rain
And I've prayed for conversation
Just one word from you
Some sweet sensation
You assault my senses like a blight
You run all over me like rain
You hurt me with your pretty voice
Your eyes is a hurricane
CHORUS
