Yo, yo check this out
There's alotta cats out here tryna get a deal
There's alotta cats out here makin' promises
And never following through with em'
I was in the same boat, I feel you
Yeah, so we gonna reverse this
And ask them how they would feel, yeah
How would you like it if somebody came along
Claimin' their money's gone and they wanna put chu on
All they doin' is playin' wit chu
They got the money and the deal but they won't give it to you
All you tryna do is get this money
A crib for your mommy, a sample from your honey
Come through the hood wit cha 5 or ya 6
Or some 21's with some fake niggas on your dick
Why should I, keep on struggling?
And goin' through hard times
Somebody tell me where do we go?
'Cause at this point I can't give up but it's takin'
(Forever, forever, for)
Stay home until your ribs start showin'
While your next piece of change is comin' from you not knowin'
To your friends you're always beggin'
Now you ain't cool, you find yourself doing things you never do
Like stealin', robbin', man you better chill
Damn I gotta keep it real
I let the pen do the talkin', let them haters keep walkin'
I pray for the day the world gets out, my album's droppin'
Why should I, keep on struggling?
And goin' through hard times
Somebody tell me where do we go?
'Cause at this point I can't give up but it's takin'
(Forever, forever, for)
Why should I, keep on struggling?
And goin' through hard times
Somebody tell me where do we go?
'Cause at this point I can't give up but it's takin'
(Forever, forever, for)
Yo, this is what I told them cats yo
I see alotta cats on TV wit record deals
They gotta click over entourages with no skills
Everybody who hear me, be like dem you can flow
I guess it's not about my skills, it's about who I don't know
But that's cool I'ma deal wit chu hataz, I'ma be weighed
Platinum plus on the regular, whoever wants beef with me
I'm tryna stack these figures no time for hatin' niggas
Why should I, keep on struggling?
And goin' through hard times
Somebody tell me where do we go?
'Cause at this point I can't give up but it's takin'
(Forever, forever, for)
Why should I, keep on struggling?
And goin' through hard times
Somebody tell me where do we go?
'Cause at this point I can't give up but it's takin'
(Forever, forever, for)
All I gotta do is keep on going
The man upstairs gotta plan, I gotta keep on believin'
I just wanna get away, someday
Every time I look up I'm tryna smile
Something goes wrong and it brings me back down
