take it too far lyrics

Tryin' to keep straight but you left it too late
The drink is beating you hands down
You once made a wish that before you got old
You'd be six feet under ground

You party so hard you keep forgetting your name
Dope has gone to your head
Got a hundred tattoos all your rings and your chains
You've really got your mother scared

Go slow there are things you don't know
You always take it too far woah, oah
Just who do you think that you are?
You always take it too far

You need to say "What" 'cos the ring in your ears
Is louder than a V8 car
You never say stop and as the sun's comin' up
You're the only one at the bar

Go slow there are things you don't know
You always take it too far woah, oah
Just who do you think that you are?
You always take it too far

You're just like a shooting star
Always taking things too far

Go slow there are things you don't know
You always take it too far, woah
Just who do you think that you are?
You always take it too far

Go slow there are things you don't know
You always take it too far, woah
Just who do you think that you are?
You always take it too far

You always take it too far
You always take it too far
