quiet time lyrics

Billy Simon
Bad news again as always
All these unlucky breaks they're getting me down
Pressure from every side
Makes me want to go hide somewhere alone
Where the time is still and I can think it out
Where I can see you Lord and you can calm me down
Chorus
I need some quiet time to get you on my mind
Leave the worry far away
Fill my heart with you so I can still get through
When it's not quiet time
This world it sure has a way
Of making living a strain, but I'm glad I can know
Lord you've got me prepared
In the time that we've shared
In our quiet time
Where the time is still and I can think it out
Where I can see you Lord and you can calm me down
Repeat Chorus
I need some quiet time, need some quiet time...
