I have spent all my bonus
Ain't got a single dime
I have spent all my bonus
I ain't even got a dime
An I can't get no hearin'
From that girl of mine

Boys, please don't be hasty
Try to treat people the best you can
Boys, please don't be hasty
Try to treat people the best you can
You can't tell when you be sick an down
Won't even have a friend

Now have spent all my bonus
You know my baby gone
I have spent all my bonus
You know my baby gone
You know ain't but one thing that worries me
I ain't even got a home

I have spent all my bonus
Ain't no mo' for me to do
I have spent all my bonus
Ain't no mo' for me to do
You know I had a sweet little woman
But you know that she would treat me cruel.
