Song: i feel a little sentimental
It was just another ordinary day
Well there was nothing much happening anyway
Then out of the blue I hear from you
Taking me back to days that I once knew
You said "Hi, it's me, do you remember?
How the hell you been and how do you feel?"
And I said, I said
I feel a little sentimental, I'm so high
You know I had a real good time
You know I'm feeling almost presidential
That is why I'm on the happy side of life
It was such an extraordinary weeked
Since we'd only just met two days before
he held my hand like he'd known me forever
We drank so much we spent the night on the floor
I said "I'm glad you called and that you remember
So where the hell you been and how do you feel?"
And he said, he said
I feel a little sentimental, I'm so high
You know I had a real good time
You know I'm feeling almost presidential
That is why I'm on the happy side of life
How come it seems oh so good
When you're looking back, when you remember?
How come it's all good not bad
When you're looking back when you remember?
Maybe it's just plain to say
It's not as good as we remember
I feel a little sentimental, I'm so high
You know I had a real good time
You know I'm feeling almost presidential
That is why I'm on the happy side of life
Oh - oh - I'm just feeling sentimental
Oh - oh - I'm just feeling sentimental
I'm just feeling sentimental
I'm just feeling sentimental.......
