There was a boy and a girl that we knew through my school
They were head over heels for the things that we do
They used to follow us down to the corner store
They'd say "Buy us a song today"
And everyone else started asking around
They said they this song is "The song is a hit!"
They'd say they like that sound
Well guess what?
You're in luck, 'cause they're playing tonight
Yeah that's right; they're playing tonight
Put your arms to the sky
Sing!
Shout it out at the top of your lungs
And follow along while we sing this song to you and only you
Can put this tension aside
And throw it out the door,
And throw it out and just...
Well hey Jacob wont you play me that song?
He says "she can't get enough!"
He says he thinks she's in love.
And Whoah oh,
I just want, I want to go back to the feel of crowds and music
Baby that's where it's at.
They had us all clapping our hands at the sound of catchy choruses and screaming fans
Well guess what?
You're in luck, 'cause they're playing tonight
Yeah that's right; they're playing tonight
Put your arms to the sky
Sing!
Shout it out at the top of your lungs
And follow along while we sing this song to you and only you
Can put this tension aside
And throw it out the door,
And throw it out and just shake it up,
Throw your hands in the air and wave them side to side like you just don't care
Yeah you like that, yeah we remember those days
Where nothing ever mattered so we'd just sing this song for you
Shout it out at the top of your lungs
And follow along while we sing this song to you and only you
Can put this tension aside
And throw it out the door,
And throw it out and just shake it up,
Throw your hands in the air and wave them side to side like you just don't care
Yeah you like that, yeah we remember those days
Where nothing ever mattered so we'd just sing this song for
Shout it out at the top of your lungs
And follow along while we sing this song to you and only you
Can put this tension aside
And throw it out the door,
And throw it out and just shake it up,
Throw your hands in the air and wave them side to side like you just don't care
Yeah you like that, yeah we remember those days
Where nothing ever mattered so we'd just sing this song for you
