better luck next year lyrics

This year for christmas holiday, I'll ask for everything i chased
and never caught up to, santa's guess i'm wanting you
Underneath my tree, this will be decembers only gift for me

i saw everything falling apart, when we hung up the phone late last night
what a great site to see, her forget about me
better luck next year, baby wish you still cared...

This year for new years eve parties, we'll wear our fears out on our sleeves
...and i was hoping to, get the best of you
cause i'm the kid in the corner who'd do anything for you
but you'll wish you had never had ignored

i saw everything falling apart, when we hung up the phone late last night
what a great site to see, her forget about me
better luck next year, baby wish you still cared...
