Artist: the wilkinsons
Song: six pack
I got a new boss today
He's all jerk and no play
He was on my back at 6 am
And rode me all day long
I take it on the chin
Makes him mad 'cause I just grin
Thinks he's making my life a living hell
But it's 5 o'clock
1st Chorus:
And I'm a six pack away from perfect
A half a dozen pop a tops from ten
Until then drink up, drink up
All the whining just ain't worth it
Life's good, no it's great
It's just a six pack away from perfect
Ivy works at the local bar
She had dreams she'd be a star
She never did hit the charts
But she's the karaoke queen
With big hair and blue eye lids
She'd be the first one to admit
There's a little extra on her hips
Still she winks at me and says
2nd Chorus:
She's a six pack away from perfect
A half a dozen pop a tops from ten
Until then drink up, drink up
All the whining just ain't worth it
Life's good, and she's great
She's just a six pack away from perfect
When your best made plans jump the track
And your dreams all start to rust
It might save the sanity that's left
Remembering we're just
3rd Chorus:
We're all just a six pack away from perfect
Half a dozen pop a tops from ten
Until then drink up, drink up
All the whining just ain't worth it
Life's good, no it's great
It's just a six pack away from perfect
Oh, life's great, and you're all great
You're just a six pack away from perfect
